Ham - Woodcraft, Scavenging, Logging.


I have to say though, there are certain skills that are easy and cheap to raise (resource wise) And some that are expensive and tough to raise.

Woodcraft is expensive to raise, as it uses up (what we know so far) a non renewable resource that there is little of (trees), logging logically is the same.
Having high scavenging is very useful and is slow to raise (also kind of boring)

I would almost suggest we all start with these skills, as the other skills are easy to raise and the resources are easy to find.

From what i have seen they didn't implement any kind of skill cap. I have started with the ability to use all skills, and ( i assume) have the ability to raise them all to max.

Edit: Doubling up on skills is also a good idea, as each person will get different recipes that others could possibly NEVER get.

Red: Bonecraft, Hunting, scavenging.

I also plan on raising toolcraft when I can't find animals. I got a toolcraft recipe that requires one stone to make.

Edit: If some one would rather do tool crafting I have an easy to make weapon recipe as well so I can go with weapon smithing.

Scavenging is one of those skills it's highly recommended that every one starts with. The rare components found from junkpiles with it are huge.

made william to help tribe numbers.. when hin gets back im sure he will remake the character. hin was nice enough to let me get a feel for the game .. while hes away for a week or 2. if this pans out for the clan ill work over the wife and open up a account if budgets permitting.

I have not yet made a character but will try for the name Amos (or Amus or even Amuth if already taken).

Unless some of you have a better idea of what we need, I plan on taking Foraging, Basketry and Scavenging to fill out the skills available to the Clan.

Look for me to be creating a character 15 March. As a pre-order, I get a free weapon, what should I take to support my crafting skills or does it matter?
