Why join? | Expectations of Members | Language | Joining procedure | Picking names
Your first name should be short, contain no punctuation, and should not be a recognizable word in English or any other commonly-understood language. It should not be a name from history or literature, have 3 or more of the same letter in a row, or otherwise be immersion-breaking in any way. People have to type your first name in order to message or Summon you; make it as easy for them as you can. Check the Guild Roster thread on the messageboards to get an idea of the names people are taking. Your last name should be a descriptive word or phrase in High Irekei.
Note that you if you prefer a longer first name, you can put part of it in your last name field. For example, the name Jan'Khalt Qhi'Jahular could be split up with just Jan as the first name, and 'Khalt Qhi'Jahular as the last name.
