Importance of a name

Names are important in creating the clan environment. Characters with inappropriate names will be rejected, even if the player meets all other requirements. In rare cases, they may be rejected after the player has entered the clan. That is why it is important to pick an appropriate name at the outset. One way of avoiding this pitfall is to ask for approval on the message boards of the Star Wars galaxies branch. Please post in the thread created for this purpose.

Rules

1. Must not be even remotely related to an english word or phrase, or popular words in other languages. We have members from around the world, so it is possible someone will recognize it.

2. 1-2 syllables in length is recommended. (the shorter the name, the easier it is to message, and invite)

3. Rodian names commonly have the following letters: R, E, O, K

4. Not be a popular or known name in pop culture or Star Wars (eg. Greedo)
